SmartShade is positioned to improve driver vision in those high-glare moments — with a path toward broader OEM and aftermarket relevance, not only luxury new-vehicle packages.

High-level approach

SmartShade combines sensing, an MDTI control layer, and active vision materials so the vehicle can respond to glare conditions as they change. Partner work is underway on camera and film technology as part of the product roadmap.
